The Commtel CRBT platform provides CRBT facility on SS#7 platform.
The CRBT platform provides customizable ring back tone and powered with the fastest main memory database CSQL on top of MySQL database.

Architecture

• IPPBX is a cluster of SS#7 nodes, Each node can support around 360 ports on a standard hardware.
• The CSQL database is the caching database that caches the information from the MySql database for faster response.
• Admin is used for profile and maintenance.
  
• The MSC sends the IAM to the IPPBX through ISUP/SS#7. The IPPBX gets the ANI, DNIS and looks to the CSQL database for the subscriber information, it finds the profile and then finds the songs to be played. The IPPBX load the song from the server and play the song to the calling party.

Scalability-Availability

• Each IPPBX node can support 360 port on a standard hardware, so multiple IPPBX node can be defined, the MSC can connect to any of the IPPBX node for any subscriber. The Profile database is maintained in a cluster so it is accessible to any IPPBX node. So the system is scalable linearly with addition of additional IPPBX node.
• Incase of a failure of single IPPBX, as it is a SS#7 node, the MSC detects and can send the request to the other IPPBX node.
• The Database is MySQL cluster so always available and can survive single instance failure.
