The system provides an end-to-end secure telecom and internet connectivity between the caller (card holder) and the bank which will authorise the payment transactions. The PCI DSS certification attained by LAKSHYA for this PayLink involves compliance with more than 900 security standards and requirements. PCI stands for Payment Cards Industry's Security Standards Council which is a consortium of all the 5 major card brands in the world - Visa, Master, Amex, JCB and Discover. The Data Security Standards (DSS) is the set of security standards that have been setup by this global body to ensure safe and secure card transactions and to minimize chances of misuse & frauds.
We can integrate this Payment IVRS to any existing service delivery setup that the client might be having, in terms of a call centre or IVRS or Web portal, through which the client (referred to as merchant) is selling its services or products to customers who are calling to the call centre and talking to an agent or calling an IVRS or generating a call-back from a Web portal of the merchant. Typically as is evident all these transactions will involve a "card not present" payment situation, where the essential card details like - Card number (16/15 digits), Date of Expiry and CVV (3/4digits at the back) are collected and then passed on to the banking payment gateway provider of the merchant. The bank validates the card information and authorises payment if the card passes all necessary validations and requirements. Confirmation of such a payment is played in call to the card-holder and it is also possible to send a confirmation SMS to the card holder's mobile.
